Sweeps are the best. With a 12-8 victory over the Mets, the Cards earned their second sweep of this still young season.
MLB.com posted an article on the Cardinals outpouring of offense so far this year. I can only imagine in a month of so when Glaus comes back how much stronger we will be.
Speaking of offense, Molina has really stood out this year at the plate, in my book at least. Just think of where he was offensively in 2006 when basically he was only in the lineup for defensive purposes. The glove/arm have always been there for Yadi, but it is really nice to see him coming around and improving with the bat as well.
In any event...Cards/Cubs round 2 begins tonight. The Cubs got the better of us the first time around winning 2 of 3 in a rain shortened series. Let's get out there and even the score.
