Short Post Today

Sorry for the short post today. So emotionally drained from real life stuff.

Cards poured it on today. They bested the Mets 15-4 behind solid pitching from Kyle Lohse. Lohse tossed 3 2/3 scoreless. Royce Ring followed him hurling 1 1/3 scoreless of his own.

The 15 runs was a team effort but Chris Duncan hopefully busted out of his winter hibernation today with a 4-4 game. He had two singles, a triple and a homer; only a double short of the cycle. Lil' Dunc also had three runs scored and five runs driven in.

Joe Mather also had a solid game going 3-4. Albert Pujols also reached base all three of his plate appearances with a double and two walks. He also drove in two runs and scored three times himself.

The Cards have an off day tomorrow followed by their match up with Team Dominican Republic on Thursday. Wellemeyer is going to get the start. Pending any crustacean attacks.

I love you Mom. I will miss you more than you know. You will forever be with me in my memories and in my heart. You have taught me so much and have always been there for me. Every day without you will be a trial for me. I know you will be looking down to keep an eye on me. I hope I can make you proud. I love you.

Love,
Matty
